yes, photography has sure "developed" over our lifetime. I used to get doubles, to have one to give to whoever. I always loved taking and having photos. And yes, being able to see and frame and view the image immediately would have blown my head around if I knew that was in our future, with the old days of film and developing it and waiting.

I can sure relate to this. Photos of old, and coordinating with the kids when they were small for a perfect memory. I still have lots of photos up in my house of when my kids were little. You do a lot more photo taking then. Amazing how history sort of repeats itself, but with new twists.

It IS funny how history does that. I like the new twist of the smartphone that allows me to delete the "really bad" photos and only keep the good ones...and the funny ones, of course! Remember when we used film and had no idea what a picture would look like until we brought it to the store and had it developed days later? LOL...I'm glad those days are gone!

"The view is so much nicer from here"...so true! Something to remember in my day-to-day frustrations. They are never a big deal when I look back on them. And sometimes they just make great stories!
