I just started reading The Lager Queen of Minnesota. It's very good so far! Since we are sisters and have shared many recipes, reading about the ones you mentioned made my mouth water! Mom's blueberry coffee cake is the best! I want to make it again sometime... as well as your Lemon Rosemary Chicken recipe (Bill loves that one!)... AND our cousin's yummy avacado dip! ALL are delicious!
And I've enjoyed many of YOUR recipes as well! I think of you whenever I make Tortellini Soup and Marinated Flank Steak...and I'm sure there are more! Also, I loved The Lager Queen...especially because it was about sisters! Love you, Sis!
I made mom's blueberry coffee cake for the weekend and shared it with many guests at the lake. I had another sliver of it this morning for breakfast. Yum! Oh, and the tortellini soup was in a cookbook I gave you, but I consider that to be YOUR recipe. I think you made it first and you were the one who told me you added a can of V8 juice to it. I make it your way every time!
Lol...I guess what comes around, goes around! I guess maybe I did share it first but I still think of YOU when I make it! And it’s the thought that counts, right?
Nancy, you were the one who recommended William Kent Krueger to me! Tom and I listened to "This Tender Land" last summer, which you also recommended. We both liked it, but I think I liked Ordinary Grace even more. I hope you like the chicken recipe!
Lol! TRUE!

I will try your chicken recipe. I imagine your mom's blueberry coffee cake recipe is similar to my mom's.
I loved Ordinary Grace! I read at least one more if his books.
